Watching ballet. Can't believe I forgot to put this durr... Art Nouveau & Deco music, yup. Fine design. Learning. Delicious food, wit, banter and great company: especially the generous-spirited. Stand-up that's genuinely funny & observational. Avoiding idiots & avoiding being lectured...by anyone Spending time with people with a sense of humour, who either don't take themselves too seriously, or do and are proud to say it :D Those who just "get" it, you know?
Movies:
So very many. Favourite probably "In the shade of the quince tree" when I'm being Farty,. Or "Sweeney Todd when I'm being Arty,, or the Willard White "Porgy and Bess" when I'm being Arty-Farty and "Shaun of the Dead" (minus the Hand Scene in the Shower AAAARRRGH!!) when I need a big laugh.

loads, all very different and intentionally so.

gone off books at the moment...too much new music to learn, esp lieder grr WHY is German SO tricky to memorise? ach ach aaach
