Dear Friend,
You are cordially invited to attend a special event for The Golandsky Institute on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Steinway Hall. Please join us from 6:30 to 8:00 PM for cocktails, light refreshment and a short recital by Aya Nagatomi, an exciting young artist from Japan and a devotee of the Taubman Approach. Gyorgy Nador, Professor at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, says that Aya excels with her natural musicality and passionate performances. She is a mature performer who can claim international acknowledgment.
The Golandsky Institute is proud to be the preeminent center for the teaching of the Taubman Approach. In addition to our upcoming Summer Symposium and International Piano Festival at Princeton University, the calendar for our sixth anniversary season includes plans for other events throughout the country, as well as in Europe and Central America!

We appreciate your past interest and support. Particularly in todays uncertain economy, we need your support more than ever. Please take a moment to think about how much you or someone you know has been touched by our work and consider making a contribution that will help us continue to enrich peoples lives by giving them the tools to make music with freedom, brilliance and ease.

We hope you will plan to share a wonderful evening with us on February 12. We want to celebrate our success with you and keep you informed of our projects for the future!
Sincerely,

Edna Golandsky

How can you tell she plays with the Taubman technique from this?

I should have known you studied the Taubman technique. You play beautifully! I studied Taubman also. There's no other way to play. This is it. No wonder you play so excellently. I should study it again because it's been a while.

All the best to you!
