The band must have been sponsored by Vox since everyone is playing a Vox guitar. They were seen a lot in the 60's but I rarely see them for sale on Ebay now. I lusted after a Vox teardrop bass back in 1966 when it cost about $100. It might as well have been $1MM.

@unlockthecity The bump stop has been removed and the tire is not contacting anything. The sound has now gone away and I have driven 200 miles since. I will try to pinpoint it when and if it returns.
