I have no idea what they're saying, but I use YN460s off camera and they haven't given me any trouble. They are a ton less expensive than Nikon. On top of that you can adjust the flash output of to 1/32nd (If I remember correctly, because I never go down that low)

why didn't you show how to create a custom white balance? (you can do it by using an 18% gray card)

Why not just get an 18% gray card? Set the camera in shutter priority mode, zoom in on the gray card, read the aperture setting and enter the information in manual mode. It's a lot cheaper than an exposure meter; it works and it can also be used to set your custom white balance.

so what's your conclusion? I use YN460s almost exclusively. I like being able to adjust the flash output. I haven't had any problems with them and, at the price (38$ US, postage included), they are a great value.
