I'm a life long rock n roller ...but the first time I heard this song.....it stopped me dead in my tracks...a perfect little song ...the feeling is just right.

best singer to never make it in America...she just blows me away. Time and Tide is a perfect song...if there is such a thing.

First time I heard this song was on a car radio in summer '75 while at WVU in Morgantown...my buddy, a Grateful Dead lover, was unimpressed....Me??? I nearly drove off the damn road....totally knocked out then AND now!

I would love to know if Don Henley ever said anything publicly about this....Hotel California is a VERY artistic piece...but also and obviously a ripoff....I mean I get that most pop,rock and blues and rap is created this way...and sometimes the ripoff is an improvement...but this is SO blatant.....

nah...the greatest moment in rock history was when Abbie Hoffmann tried to take the stage and talk to the crowd while The Who were on at Woodstock.....and Pete used his guitar like a baseball bat to knock him right off the stage into the mud ....lol...true story though not in the movie.......gott...
