A very fine Baroque cellist to be sure (and a fine theorbo player as well, having heard him elsewhere) but that's a lousy recording. You can barely hear the theorbo at all. What a shame.

I just heard them perform this piece earlier tonight and I had to hear it again. What a gem of a piece. It seems to have been written for them. This is a great performance undoubtedly but Nothing beats hearing it live from the balcony of St. Ignatius' Church with that 3 sec sustain. What a gr...
