Snarf had his moments of humor in the first edition of the series, but the voice did get in the way of it a lot. Some days I was rolling over laughing...because it actually worked from time to time.

Most days though....I felt like he needed to take a sleeping pill and go away for a few minutes.

Days in the show, as well as others, tend to pass with a blink of an eye. Those two scenes could've been several minutes or even hours apart from each other.

Just one of the many natures of screenwriting.
