back when this would be played out in clubs in '96, the next morning when i'd wake up, this song was what i'd still be hearing haha...

yeah that's correct, it was released in '95 on the conqueror label. it was my favorite of the 3 songs on there...the other two were chicago and something else...it came out in like august or september of '95, at least that's when i found it in the record store when it was a new release.

@MeLoveBlu it was originally called "swear" like a year or so before it was released when i think it was included on "powders & oils." then when it was officially released on the actual debut album, it was retitled "the oath"
