Great video!! very helpful. Im wondering; would it be possible to use the iMac 24 intel (2007-2009) as a standalone monitor? If you leave the power supply to power the monitor, and use a DVI to LVDS converter from an external video card for the video signal.

the only p\problem if finding a converter card, most are wholesale/bulk companies, or overseas. :(
