Hollis Long (now 13) from Connecticut USA has recently won an award (in January) from Broadway World (online) for the the Best Younger Actress (under-25) award (Connecticut) for her perfomances in Annie, Willy Wonka (HCT) and Brighton Beach Memoirs

Here we see her (at eleven years old) with various clips from the stage musical Annie, the songs include : Maybe, It's a Hard Knock Life, The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow, I Think I'm Gonna Like it Here, I Don't Need Anything but You, and Maybe (reprise)

She has been involved in theatre for over 4 yrs (professionally for over 3 yrs). Although a particularly strong and confident actress, with some impressive leading roles and awards already, this young lady has more strings to her bow than just musical theatre! She is branching out into singing other genres besides just Broadway - for example, a number of popular (and diverse) covers such as songs by The Beatles,Pink, Adele and Eva Cassidy to name a few! (for these, check out her latest videos on YouTube). She also plays piano & guitar. She has written some original songs as well. Her talents have included a little TV and film work as well

Outside her music, she loves to just hang out with family. She spends time dancing, mountain biking, skiing, ice skating, hiking and cooking with them!
