Discover proven strategies for wealth creation...

Did you know that you were meant to be free? That it is your birthright!

Did you know that having a boss is unnatural, artificial, almost inhuman, and it's a constraint on your personal growth?

Did you know that God intended for you to be your own boss? Since biblical times, society was organized so that everyone was their own boss. This whole phenomenon of bosses and employees is relatively recent in history. It started at the time of the Industrial Revolution. The great industrialists knew that in order grow their enterprises, they needed mass labor, and mass labor didn't exist then.

The industrialists knew that society needed to be organized differently, and the first place they went to indoctrinate people was the school system. They put up lots of money to create new urban schools modeled after the Prussian system, and this system was designed to create efficient, obedient, effective soldiers. And so the North American school system was designed to create effective, efficient, obedient employees. It was so well done that it persists to this day. What do you hear parents tell their kids? Go to school, get good grades, and get a good job.

Just like the children of slaves in ancient times became slaves themselves, today's kids become employees because their parents were employees. For the most part, they don't know any different. Many slaves yearned for freedom, but they didn't know another way of life, and unfortunately, a large majority became so inured to slavery that they resigned themselves to it. Today's employees are in many ways the modern slaves. Have you ever heard the term "wage slave" before?

If you are an employee, you are tethered to your paycheck. It is your master. It determines the type of life you have, just like a master determined the life of a slave in the days of yore. You might think you are free to go change jobs, but in fact you are just changing masters. Your new master may be a nicer master, and provide you with nicer things, but he still controls your life.

So what's the solution? Get mad!! Get really, really mad!! Go and start reading books, attending courses, and hanging around people who have had it with being a wage slave, and are charting their own course to freedom.

We will teach you how. We have freed ourselves from slavery. We have freed our friends from slavery. Now we want to free you from the slavery of employment.

RE: Randy Pausch:I am glad you appreciate my view point .He gave a speech on the fundamentals of time management, to an audience of hundreds of adoring fans.I listened to the whole thing and I have come to the conclusion that his concepts are less than revelatory. There is nothing he said that couldn't be found in small primer on time management. I can't help but wonder if these people were only attending because of this mans imminent death, and his perceived hero status. You obviously took your time to read my original comment. If you question the nature of how we spend time in this culture, and how it relates to global, culture and moral responsibility, you are typically attacked. Our cultural hegemony is beyond criticism for many.
