I saw this band in San Francisco back in the day. If I remember right, their show was a like watching a "music machine". They would just stop moving between songs, and then launch into the next one and reanimate themselves. I was blown away.

It was so long ago I don't remember the year, but a bunch of us from high school went down to a local (Concord, CA) televised "dance-party" type show just to get on TV. The Golliwogs were the live band. They were wearing wierd Beatle wigs.
