This is a little "test video" I did with my Sony SLT-A57

My conclusion:
- image quality is ok: could be sharper, but nice colours and good overall image quality
- moire seems not so strong than may NEX-VG10 (its my feeling, i didn't test it out!)
- 1080p50 (EU) 1008p60 (US) ist quite nice for slow-mo.
- handing with some issues in auto mode. (auto exposure and auto focus doesn't work how you expect)

But as a photo camera - why I bought this camera for - it does a really great job!!
And for filming I stay with may NEX-VG10
