THIS CHANNEL HAS CHANGED

We have transformed from a purely individual channel used to amuse to a channel with a mission.

Originally this was Phil's personal channel and he reposted (did not make any videos) the unusual, silly, charming, hot, or noteworthy and especially those vids that didn't get enough attention or have been removed. (If we post your vid and U don't want it here, let us know and it will immediately be taken down...)

The MISSION for this channel will to be to provide a place where kids, especially those who may be Gay, Lesbian, or Queer identified can find some resources and make connections. We do that by keeping a tradition of posting videos of interest and unusual perspective or impact here and by providing links and where possible a friendly ear. Where the channel goes long term? We don't know. But we know it has a good mission and can be a place to be for now.

Particularly we would like to have suggestions for videos that would be good for kids and especially young lesbians or trans people videos...so write in if you have some videos you think are consistent with the sort of things we have posted now!!

SOCIAL MEDIA:

AT ALL SOCIAL SITES before you become deeply involved with someone VERIFY identity by seeing: 1) a video they made and that identifies them in the video by name 2) a photo of them holding a sign that positively identifies them (username) 3) Live cam. If you have NOT done one of these three, you DO NOT know who you are talking to.

TrevorSpace is a social networking site for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth ages 13 through 24 and their friends and allies. Use http://www.TrevorSpace.org to connect with other young people throughout the country; make new friends; find support; learn how to get involved in your local LGBTQ community keep abreast of news pertaining to LGBTQ youth.

There is also a social site called Mogenic http://www.mogenic.net/, I recommend with some hesitation because in the past there were a lot of fakes there -- so take precautions, it tends to have a lot of Aussies and Kiwis on it but really kids from all over.

The Gay Youth Corner is a relatively safe site. Go to http://www.thegyc.com and meet other kids and youth up to young adults; LGBTQ and straight kids are welcomed. Recently it has been closed for upgrades.

There often will be a gay youth program in your community, call your nearest LGBTQ center (google it) or check TrevorSpace (or both).

If that doesn't work, check out some of the videos from kids your age and contact the makers -- if you read the info box you will usually find a link to their channels. We watch the comments here and we often contact youth directly with information.

Q: Does ABE really want his videos posted?
A: Abe allows this channel to keep his video posted and knows of many good outcomes from this channel. He is very happy that his vids are doing this but he does not wish to be on Youtube or be contacted. He is 14, and well and happy. WE CANNOT GIVE YOU CONTACT INFO SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK. There is one more Abe video on YouTube at numerous sites but he doesn't speak and I felt it was not something the channel needs.

Q: What about The Derek vids???
A: They are reposted by Derek's verified permission. We don't have any more. We can't put you in contact with Derek. However he is at University, looks great and has better relationships with most of his family.

Q. The SHlRT videos are funny, is he gay?
A. Not that I know, I posted them as a favor to Brandon whose account was deleted in error and the vids lost to him. I though they would be funny and channel fans would like them. Yeah he's cute, but gay? You'll have to ask him.

Q: Who else has a channel like this?
A: I hope nobody does.

I get those sorts of comment now and then but I get things like this almost EVERY day:
