Phil Da Beat startete seine Musik Karriere 1999 als DJ. Schon als DJ entdeckte er sein Musikalisches Talent und hat in zahlreichen Clubs in der Region sein können unter Beweis gestellt. Es kam schnell die Zeit in der Phil Da Beat das verlangen hatte eigene Beats zu Produzieren, inspiriert durch Beats von Eric Sermon, Jay Dilla, Daz, Dj Scratch, Kanye West und Hi-Tek, machte er sich in seinem Studio an das Werk der eigenen Produktionen. Nun waren da einige fette Beats entstanden aber es fehlten die Lyrics. Phil Da Beat hat sich langsam an das schreiben von eigenen Songtexten herangetastet und ein weiteres unentdecktes Talent in sich geweckt. Ob es die Beats, die Texte oder das Abmischen eines Tracks ist, Phil Da Beat beherrscht inzwischen die volle Palette und versucht mit seiner Musik die Deutsche Hip Hop Welt in eine andere Bahn zu lenken.
