@bassplayer12 ...the point is, her awesome skills would shine through way better on a bass that was well set up. I'm not disputing the fact that she is obviously a very accomplished bass player. But I set up X amount of guitars a week in my job and know buzz/rattle when I hear it.

@JonDeth I have just built one (gaussmarkov layout), and i can get a great tone out of it. However it needs more bass and mids, and less treble and gain. Still sounds killer though! I'm just gonna mod it to suit. ^_^

Is it the pedal that sounds a bit too cutting, or just the tone? either way, yuck.

The bypassed tone isn't very clean at all...so he's cascading amp gain with the dime dist. Not really the most realistic demo for those of us who have clean amps. Anyway I work at a music store and have tried the dime, it sounds way better than this demo. Very rocky, not really pure metal but ...
