About this user

Simone Favarin aka Phate is a digital designer and web trend setter. He first met graphics and the Internet in high school. That was like being struck by lightning. During school years he participated several competitions including Japan Design Foundation Osaka where he was one of the finalists.
If something is innovative and interactive then Phate will work on it and will exploit the limits. He's a creative eclectic interested in going beyond pure web, exploring new fields: he's been curator of Neja's CD cover design and for a collection of Miles Davis for Universal Music and a matte-painter designer for Arturo Brachetti. Now he is a consultant for the web image of Luca Bono and a web trend blogger on Style.it for the influential magazine Glamour.
For Phate it is important that his work is alive and communicates emotions. If a work, object or image, is not able to express anything, then it is as if it is dead.

He have been working for several years at Domino, interaction agency for whom he has completed important works, such as Juventus.com (not current online) where he designed different sections of the site. He also have been working on pianetadonna.com with Banzai Media.

His goal? Continue to be immersed in the world of the web, explore and discover developments and trends and be part of the process.  Phate is absolutely convinced that the future lies there.
