The more I talk to people, the more I realize the problem.
people think it's a popularity contest, wanting the guy they think is 'coolest' ...like American idol or something like that.
Those people I speak of need to pull their big boy pants up, and realize they are no longer in high school.
people think we need a "charismatic leader"
I have though about this, and have determined we in fact only need that if we tell ourselves we do, but charismatic doesn't fix a nation, a "leader" is not what a self governing republic should want.

Given the choice of a honest, knowledgeable, truth teller, or a "charismatic leader, that promises' us stuff for our vote" we need to choose the truth teller.
fact is, this is exactly what our choice is.

The more I learn about Ron Paul, the more I revere him, and at the same time baffled by those that don't.
he's not only the champion of the constitution, but of an, ignorant, apathetic, America itself.
but yet, he works tirelessly for them.
in my book that makes him nothing less then a saint.
I hope we as a nation choose wisely.
