@JoFrSc @JoFrSc Horowitz never touched the Spanish repertoire, but suppose he did, he could not do better than Alicia! She was the queen of the piano. Her tone, touch and articulation are unsurpassed.
Thank you so much for posting this recording. I guess this is the recording Alicia made in 1974 with the London Philharmonic Conducting Lawrence Foster? She also recorded the the concerto in G that year. I so much like the use of her 'basses' on the piano.
