I can't stop watching! Smalin, you've unlocked this piece for me. I'd tried before, but was mostly overwhelmed, unable to see the forest for the trees. I think I get it now. The fugue-patterns stand out; I hadn't realized how much it was truly a strict fugue. Yet such chaos; highly ordered chaos....

Well done! Better, I think, than the Emerson Quartet recording I have. I like the speed and the many small expressive touches. There's a few of awkward aspects to this Bartok piece, but you've rendered them in a natural and organic way. One of my most favorite quartet pieces, this quartet.
