She just wanted the chance to make her mother feel like sh!t, not to "tell her side". The mom was misguided & maybe she has some mental issues that made her react the way she did. That poor woman. I feel so bad for her but at the same time she really needs to grow a backbone and ditch this loser. Get a lawyer and take every last dime he has. And with his behavior, I'd be willing to bet she could even get only supervised visitation for him with the kids.
