I started making Time Lapse videos while working on a Black and White photography project. Because I was spending whole nights out making ultra-long film exposures, I decided to use the time to produce digital output as well.

"Illumination" is an experiment born from collaboration with Krista Guss--making shadow projections in the desert on high rock walls. We used flood lights, spotlights, light toys, moonlight, dancers, and JOY. The Brilliant editing is by Laurie Collins--making sense of thousands of still images.
