This mix belongs in a music history class, to explain the brief years in the 1980's when the parent funk music started to use synths, so that the siblings rap and house music were like twins. This was the first reggae song I heard, from the college radio host David Kingston who did a Friday night reggae show in Toronto in the 1980's. He had the nice music of that era to play on his radio show. He couldn't do that today though. Today's reggae and dancehall tracks are lack musicianship.
