After only 3 years in New York Peter Munchs music has already found its way to some of the most influential DJs and Producers in the EDM scene. His music productions have been supported and played by top DJs such as Francois K, Brendon Moeller (BeatPharmacy), Djuma Soundsystem, DJ Chloe, Royal Sapien, Aaron Carl, among others.
He has quickly established a reputation as the go-to source for his own signature sound called SoulTech. This signature sound stems from the fact that Peter is a real musician, playing piano, drums, bass and guitar, on all his productions. He is absolutely passionate about bringing the soul and depth felt in organic instruments and sounds and blending them with the edge and technology of EDM that is his SoulTech.
Peter not only puts soul and hardwork into his music but into his community as well. He gained recognition for producing NYCs first Dance Parade, which brought together dance cultures from every corner of the world (from samba to house, and hip-hop to tango) in a colorful parade down Broadway and 5th Ave. I felt something was missing in the NYC party scene when I first moved here. Dance Parade was a way for me to support the dance culture and bring recognition to the diverse dance styles and cultures that call NYC home.
Peters love for dance music and diverse music culture shines through when he regularly spins at clubs around New York City such as Cielo, Pacha, Sullivan Room, Rebel, APT, Le Souk. His DJ sets, dubbed FutureBound, bring the diverse music cultures together into the electronic dance music scene, and go above and beyond any single genre! Besides playing the best clubs in the world, Peter has established a strong following with his eclectic and dynamic mixsets.
While his soulful, melodic productions are out on Bagpak-, Quarterlife-, and Cosmopolitan Records. With his trademark cowboy hat Peter brings a sense of adventure into his music and his community. Now established as an integral part of the NYC scene, Peter Munch is on the brink of a worldwide revolution.
