Honestly, I think my biggest step to coming out was putting it on Facebook. I have a lot of family on Facebook, but I felt I was ready, and if they didn't like it, their loss. My dad was who I was most afraid of finding out, but he ended up being perfectly fine with it, surprisingly.

@vsboy25 I'm not saying your religion is wrong, but you don't really have any right to judge other people. Leave that to your God.

@kodifurr I was still in the closet in my freshman year, too. Just wait til you're ready. It's a tough thing to do, but you feel so much better afterward. Try just telling a couple friends when you feel comfortable enough, and go from there. There's no rush. Just wait til you're ready.

I disagree with your statement. I think you should just come out when you feel it's the right time. I came out as a sophomore and it was the best thing I've ever done.

My coming out story is quite similar to yours. I told a few friends, and bu the time I had told 5 or six of them, half the school knew. And I was almost kinda forced into telling my mom because one of my friends accidentally let it slip to my brother, who was pissed that I didnt tell him myself, ...

That was soooo sad....I kinda feel feel guilty because I'm gay, but I hardly get picked on at all, but so many kids are tormented so bad about it...

That is the most adorable thing ever!!! I wish I had a guy that would sing stuff like this to me...
