Professor Birch's Lab Remix / Arrangement ~ Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald ~ by Adam Haynes

94 views 1 week ago
You have entered Professor Birch's Lab.
He is not here, but his presence certainly is. A warm tropical breeze enters through the open window, rustling the small palm plants that decorate the lab. Little gizmos and gadgets sit upon the many tables; a lab assistant snoozes in the corner; an acoustic guitar rests against the professor's desk.

Soft rains continue to beat against the laboratory windows...

Hello and welcome to my second Pokémon instrumental remix from the Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald games! This piece depicts Professor Birch.
Using the same instrumentation as my previous remix, I have tried to interpret the characteristics of Birch - young, outgoing, adventurous, large and hefty-weighted. I imagine that the role of a Pokémon professor is a lonely life, but someone as youthful and enthusiastic as Birch is unlikely to notice. An adventurous spirit like he just wants to learn as much as possible about Hoenn's wildlife and to pass this knowledge onto all trainers. I've tried to capture his passion in my music, as well as a hint of his solitude.

Please 'like' if you enjoyed listening to this piece, and make sure to subscribe for many more remixes and original compositions to come :)

Looking forward to the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games? I'd love to know what you're excited about most! Let me know in the comments below :-)

Thank you for listening!

This is my Space Opera, composed for piano. With these pieces I hope to take the listener on a journey full of mystery, science fiction, and ominous ambience. Originally written for a short student film, I have uploaded the score here for people to interpret in their own ways. Keep watching the skies!

This is my first ever attempt at chiptune music. I used VSTi rather than a tracker; maybe that's cheating but trackers take a lot of learning ;)

My second attempt at chiptune music using YMCK's 'Magical 8bit Plug'! This time I worked on creating more authentic percussion, with a few pitch manipulations.
