Gothic encompases a few things.. Music, clothing and lifestyle are the MAJOR points... You can like the music and not be gothic if you dont wear the cloths and enjoy the darker aspects, this would be "Alternative" same applies for any other combination, if you dont touch in all 3 of those depart...
