This beautiful song is rather unusually happy, cheerful and pleasant. Many people are fond of Iraj, not just because of his incredible voice in performing the classical Persian music but also for the diversity and variety in his changing role as a powerful singer, shown in the movies which made him a quite unique singer among the entire history of Iranian music. No one else could even come close to Iraj's different styles in performing (in those movies). He was chosen by the people's hearts and so was "AHDIEH" as the only female singer in the those days' Persian movies. Some people have been repeating this absurdity that "Iraj made a mistake by singing in the Iranian movies" but the time has shown us so clearly that Iraj was right all along. I believe if other singers did not take part in those movies as IRAJ and AHDIEH did, it was not because of the lack of desires in them; sure they would die for getting IRAJ's and AHDIE's places, earning that much money (as much as the movie stars' in those movies) and that huge fame throughout the country. Simply they were not the compatible characters and they knew it too. It was not an easy achievement of singing in those movies as Iraj was doing with favourable outcome because his performance was far beyond all the singing norms and conventions. Certainly some of other singers (the great singer "AREF", for instance) did well in a few movies too but soon they faced the people's rejections (empty movie theatres) at last, since they were not compatible to the biggest diamonds in Persian music of all times. Perhaps in case there were no Iraj around, then they could have some places of their own too. It goes without saying, though there were another singer that performed better than Iraj, people would choose them instead. The judgement was just about the best performance and nothing else! As we all know, Iraj could sing with all kinds of music (this video's considered to be a good example of it). Certainly a singer needs to have the certain genes since lots of other skills, qualities, characters, artistries and creativity were involved for performing such music and we know that they were are gathered in Iraj alone without any doubts. These lacks of qualifications in other singers made them as the solo character singers (performing only in one sort of music) therefore they did not even dare to step into the other categories or levels of music. Together with great talent of Fardin, they found the Golden Palace in the people's hearts. For the first time in the history of Iranian cinema, the ordinary Iranian families with their grannies/grandpas and children came to the movie-theatres thanks to Fardin and Iraj. In those days, IRAJ and FARDIN were always together and it was not possible to separate them. The collaboration and combined efforts between them brought the Iranian movies to another level so the movie called "GANJE GHAROON" became the most seen Iranian movie throughout the years. Who even can forget those gorgeous music performed by Iraj in that popular movie!!! Fardin was expelled in 20 years (till he died) from Iranian movies but in spite of that hostility and Fardin's long absence from the scenes, we saw more than 100, 000 of people (mostly from the younger generations) gathered in fardin's funeral. What was it that flourished in that crowd, we can always ask ourselves!!! To my knowledge people came there in that April day just just to show the affections that they were truly feeling for him "King of hearts" and I believe that same kind of love would go to Iraj if not less!

From 1941 until 1979, Iran was ruled by a constitutional monarchy under Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. The Shah used the country's oil-generated wealth and modernized the nation. He built rural roads, postal services, libraries, and electrical installations. He constructed dams to irrigate Iran's arid land, making the country 90-percent self-sufficient in food production. He established colleges and universities, and at his own expense, set up an educational foundation to train students for Iran's future.
To encourage independent cultivation, the Shah donated 500,000 Crown acres to 25,000 farmers.
The Shah protected minorities and permitted non-Muslims to practice their faiths. "All faith," he wrote, "imposes respect upon the beholder." The Shah also brought Iran into the 20th century by granting women equal rights.
Yet, at the height of Iran's prosperity, the Shah suddenly became the target of an ignoble campaign. Bolstered by slander in the Western press, these forces, along with Soviet-inspired communist insurgents, and mullahs opposing the Shah's progressiveness, combined to face him with overwhelming opposition. In three years he went from vibrant Monarch to exile (on 16th January 1979), and ultimately death, while Iran fell to Ayatollah Khomeini's terror.
