Hero's shield looks at your resistances and turns those resistances into absorb. Cecil's holy resistance becomes holy absorb. Protect ring's fire/lit/ice resistance becomes absorbs. With adamant armor + holy shield you're essentially invincible. Good freaking luck getting a pink tail though =P
