Maybe, it is indeed the Swedish(Scandinavian) word for Thanks with somewhat of an accent, but I would guess its from Norway, since she is "bigger" there, and as you know Norwegian, Swedish and to some extent Danish is basicly the same language (take it from a swede :P )

By the fact that he(Cas) choses to do a cover rather then a tune of his own. Had he writen anything nearly as good as this, then he would ofc have preformed that, everything else would just be silly. That said, Cas Haleys cover is damn nice

They are artists/acts not singers. Strip away the act and gadgets and they are at best average singers. But as artists, sure, they do sell alot and thats what counts in the end.
