God's message goes beyond "love thy neighbor," Ah! You are so right! Maybe I'm just a spiritual idealist, but a true Christian emulates Christ. He is pure love and loves us us despite our differences. How wonderful it would be if all faiths would understand what unconditional love is. To be worthy of God and be brothers and sisters to each other we all need to realize this.

Well the church surely does not pay any taxes since God doesn't answer to authority I guess, lol. It is true that you will see priests on television stating their 'respective' opinions on trivial scientific matters but that is a plus for us since their arguments are so weak you see they are not valid or logical, they merely use the 'it's not in the bible' and the 'what if' arguments to frighten people(sigh).Their opinions always lacks knowledge on scientific subjects so they can't actually debate real scientists.Those however loyal to the church seem to be inspired by them, well the non-thinkers mainly. As for politics, a famous priest standing by a candidate politician will ensure him a big deal of votes.Religion has an important role on the court system, too. And concerning evolution in school they told us that it is the scientific explanation of God's work and that it does not cancel 'God's Word', wtf?

It's because racist fucks talk the most and run around making most of the fuss. There are a lot of Greek channels that support Anarchy and Atheism although they don't stand out because they don't run around acting like fucktards to gain a bit of attention. Also, no, about the blessings and all, it's just tradition, church has no 'obvious' power over the government, but backstage affairs are different and there was a scandal concerning just that. Government funds on people with high places on the patriarch and such. Greeks will probably never wake up though, trust me, this nation is doomed because of how many blind fucks are around... it's depressing and pissing me off at the same time that people can't see the obvious and EVEN when they do- they pass it off like it won't happen again... maybe the problem with Greeks is that we forgive too easily, and forget even more easily.

Then we've got school- that was kind of a big issue... I almost 'lost' a whole year because of our theologian which I never got to throw that bag of dog shit I was planning on with a few of my friends... shame anyway. I rarely allowed him to make a statement that would go by me unchallenged and to say the least, it pissed him off. Greeks might be 98% catholic or whatever, but their ties to religion are little. Unless they are some fascist neo-nazi pigs. Think the equivalents of rednecks to the US. =P

Actually 90% of my friends here are either completely Atheists or hold no ties with religion. My mother is a christian but she shows little care about it. My father's a bit more of a believer but he is a cop so you must know what that means... it's the usual fascist idealist that thinks there is only one way of thinking, his way of thinking, but it was easy to pass by that by simply wave off his words. And from a young age too, so you can't say I was really affected.
