Also like it, but often I find it helpful to get a simple, but concrete example. It can be very overwhelming, working only with abstract variables and functions, and in order not to drown in this abstractness, it's nice to relate things to the real world from time to time. @dylanhoggyt I get that, but that doesn't answer my question. What I mean, is that around minute 14:00 he says that the error is vertical instead of orthogonal to the line. I thought we were trying to minimize the error by orthogonal projection. I'm probably mixing things up, but I don't see it.

@j4ckjs Thanks for the reply. It's just a confusing definition and if you google a bit on orthogonality, you find many other definitions contradicting this one. I think he should have pointed it out more clearly, but at least now I will be cautious when it comes to this topic. I guess that's good...

This lecture really is too compressed. He should give some examples like he did in his previous lectures.

@zkhandwala I think it has much to do with the topic. Explaining the Jordan form in depth would probably lead to far, so in this course he has to stay superficial.

Capitals for vectors are really confusing...
