The voices are lovely (considering the acoustics), and the tempo relaxed, but I'm afraid I miss the crisp articulation of the Baillie/Ferrier version (also on youtube). If I didn't speak English well, I might well wonder what the "furrowed lan" was over which the ploughman was whistling. "LanD"...

This is the way this piece SHOULD be done! These are professionals (including the accompanist) - good examples of what the new generation should try to emulate. Just listen to the articulation, so different from the mush that is so common today where you never hear a single final consonant any...
