no, don't be ridiculous. it's not an ipad unless they touch it and 'type' stuff etc. otherwise it's just a little flat-screen tv tuned to BBC. another guy I know says they have 'youtube' because Frank gets that pre-recorded birthday video from his parents. nonsense!

I WILL have them forever because in addition to the original tapes I made, I have multiple digital backups. meanwhile, youtube quality isn't good enough for posting whole shows, even if they didn't tend to get taken down for no reason.
