Though I was brought up Christian (by two female Savation Army preachers, actually) I now totally reject literalist Christianity for it's sanctified anti-Semitism.

Speaking of anti-Semitism, If Christianity invented it, then Mohammad and his new sect, Islam, perfected it.

So my conclusion after reading the biographies, traditions and recitations is that while Mohammad may very well have started out as a genuine mystic with a laudable mission to unite believers in one god, he soon turned into a divisive mobster.

From uniting mystic with no power or influence to divisive mobster with limitless power and influence, is proof enough that power corrupts, especially when you can claim that everything you choose to say or do was commanded by the one and only great big beardie in the sky.

So rather than deny the existance of any higher power, I say that if Mohammad's god really is the only god that exists, then god does not exist.
