@ZZMann33 Mike, a bag of phosphate remover in the sump won't help. The water needs to flow through the media, preferrably GFO, in a pressurized system (like a media reactor). GFO needs to "tumble" slightly.

You have hair algae, so you have phosphates. 1) Most importantly, even two cubes of frozen food is WAY too much food.
