The answer is different for every rider. It is a complicated, yet simple question. Why? Why do you ride? Is it the need for competition? For that adrenaline rush? Motocross is not just motocross, you have to be better, faster, stronger, than all the other riders. You have to be unbeatable, invincible. Is it pushing the limits, cheating the unknown, cheating the undescribed, cheating the impossible, or even cheating death? For most riders, it is the chance to be on top. For some, it is the glam and glory, the cameras, the fame, and the money. Or is it the solitude while flying past the stands full of screaming fans, or is it simply the escape from everyday life? The answer cannot be found outside, it is found within.
