About Me:

I am a recording guitarist and have 15 guitar instrumental CDs available on my web site. My strap line is 'My Voice is My Guitar'.I love westerns and have contact with some of the great westerns stars of television from the 50s & 60s. I have a great collection of DVDs of these fantastic shows and it has been a labour of love collecting them. If I can draw your attention to the Liner Notes of my western CD. Doug Abbott, who is a western collector in the US, and has a large collection of photos of these western stars,which are for sale on his web site, has written these very comprehensive notes for my CD. He also has a new book now available, called '50 Years Of The Television Western'. My influence on guitar is Hank Marvin and the wonderful sound of The Shadows. I teach guitar and how to read music for a living. My other hobby is flying birds of prey. Nature made these wonderful creatures and I have this particular Harris Hawk that I like to fly, and we have this understanding between us. It is such a wonderful feeling to have this bird of prey on your gloved hand, out in the countryside. My latest CD is 'Peter Williams Plays Country'. It has nearly 74 minutes of my favourite country songs which I have turned into guitar instrumentals. There are 2 bonus tracks of which one is Hallelujah the Leonard Cohen song, and the other is Pachabel's Canon, my favourite classical piece of music. My favorite from my childhood is the Winnetou movies based on the Karl May novels I saw these in Europe. And of course The Magnificent Seven as well as Clint Eastwood films. I saw these in Europe.
