About Me:

Hi I'm Paul. Thanks to everyone who watches, rates, favorites, comments, embeds, adds to playlists and subscribes to my videos. I read every comment and I always answer specific questions.

The main message of this channel is "Look what you can do with one instrument in one take".

Here are the most common questions:

"Can I have the sheet music?" I have worked with a publishing company to try to get as many arrangements up to high quality and available for legal purchase as possible. Unfortunately, in nearly all cases the song owner has not granted permission. So we have decided not to continue.

"What type of keyboard is it?" It's a Roland RD700SX (which I bought online without ever having played one).

"Can you make a tutorial?" If you leave a comment asking for a tutorial I count it as a vote for that song. Whenever I get around to setting up the camera I make tutorials of the songs with the highest number of votes (usually only around 10 votes or so - so one vote makes a large difference). Please note you have to add a new comment asking for a tutorial, if you just rate up someone else's comment I won't be notified and won't count your vote. The totals are listed below to give you a rough idea. This is only a copy of the list - new votes don't appear on it straight away.

"Will you make a video of song X?" I make a lot of videos because of suggestions in comments. However, not every song will sound good played on one keyboard in one take - so please do not be offended if I don't go on to make a video of song X. I normally give a reason, such as it depends too much upon the percussion track or a particular style of singing which I cannot reproduce.

"What sounds are you using?" I split the keyboard around E3, putting Chorus Bass and piano below and piano and one other sound above as best suits the song.

"Can I use the soundtrack to your video for my own video which I am making?" I give permission to anyone to re-use my soundtracks provided you state the source as this channel.

"Why have you transposed this song?" I often decide to play a new song without making reference back to the original and find out later I've picked the wrong key.

Hey Paul, your piano playing is impressive. You are an inspiration to all of us who like playing modern pop-rock on the keyboard. I wish i played as fast as you do, how much do you play each day? i normally practise with the hanon exercises book around half an hour a day and then i play three or four songs i know.. maybe i should practise more? or do other exercises? thanks in advance!
Manu from Noisedown (keyboard).
ps: anyone wanting to hear some home-made versions of a few pop-rock songs please visit our channel.

Hi Paul.
Thank you very much for your great videos.

May i request?
I think the Cheers theme (Where Everybody Knows Your Name) would be a great song for a video of it.
I hope you can do this..
If not, no problem. Thanks anyway.

You're one of very few people I completely revere on here. You are absolutely amazingly talented, I'm just in awe. Thanks for posting videos and I was just wondering if you like Steely Dan? They're one of my favourites, I can just see you playing those piano licks dx
