Hey Paul, when i get reloading up and running i'll let you know how it's working I'm thinking of getting the Ruger LCR .22 for my wife she has Arthritis real bad she can't pull the trigger on the S&W 438 and has a hard time racking the slide i know the LCR .38 has a nice trigger i like the LCR .22 i hope they will make it for the .22 Magnum.Take care TTYL

No, for several reasons. I'm EXTREMELY picky about parts for one. I also really hate most slanted serrations on 1911s, and the only people that put out vertical serrations to my knowledge are Colt and Caspian. Colt does not sell slides and frames, and Caspian frames are cast - which I am against entirely so more fitting would be necessary when using a Caspian slide and someone else's frame.

Also, I'd be kind of nervous building it since if I mess up on the sear or something it could be dangerous in more than the intended ways. I have no real way to finish/coat the gun, unless I pay someone else to do it or get stainless steel parts. There's also the fact I don't really have the money to put into it yet.

I'm still interested in it though, for sure. I'd love to learn gunsmithing in general and design my own stuff one day.

You're welcome. Thank you too. We talked a long time ago about making 1911s part for part. I watched the video again, but I apparently didn't subscribe way back then so I decided to do so now.
