PG CHiPS have been already built a burgeoning reputation for cracking entertainment, performing in seven different counties already this year alone. Their appeal appears to transcend generations, and appeal to 18 year-olds as much as their parents and grandparents.

Paul is not new to the media spotlight, having appeared on television and radio on numerous occasions during his Springfox Too days, even appearing on a sky channel network program promoting their work and on a Boston commercial radio station, twice, playing and promoting their work. Vocalist/Guitarist/Keyboard player Guy Young has had radio attention in his Midlands stomping ground as well as in Europe.
Guy and Paul are both songwriters in their own right, and look forward to performing their own songs as PG CHiPS in the near future, but at the moment are concentrating more on presenting their versions of other people's songs for the pub and club scene.

The reputation PG CHiPS have of being an excellent 'Blues Brothers' tribute is rather strange, when you consider that the main part of that particular set is filled with more classic blues, soul and rock 'n' roll, than actual BB tracks. However the seamless way in which the show is put together would have you believe that each song is from the movie itself! "We are a tribute to great music" said Guy, "not a tribute to the acts who originally performed it. So we have the freedom to put Solomon Burke next to Alexandra Burke if we so desire!".

The virtuosity of PG CHiPS means that they can give you a Beatles evening (solos included) a generic evening of pretty much any decade you would care to pick, as well as their famed alternative blues brothers act. The most popular show so far however, contains a mash up of the lot!
Playing everything from Rock around the Clock to Sex on Fire, and constantly seeking to interact with their audience, PG CHiPS do not use their instruments as a barrier to form an 'us and them' scenario, they will put their instruments down and get into the crowd, encouraging sing-a-longs and generating a great time for everybody.

Ok so what exactly, in real terms, are you getting for your money? well:
A lot
you can have
1. The Alternative Blues Brothers combined with any decade you wish from the swinging sixties, the rocking fifties, the glamorous seventies or 80's rock, you could even have a mashup of the whole lot.
2. A tribute to the music of the Beatles and solo related
3. A tributed story to the music of the 1960's from 1960 - 1969
4. A seventies night
5 A night of eighties decadence
6 A trip down the rock n roll memory lane with the hits from the fifties/sixties
7 A general covers evening mixing all decades and genres for an entertaining night of great music past and present

This should all be proof enough that we are not a one trick pony
we do use backing tracks but where possible we attempt to play our instruments (guitars/bass/keyboards) live on as many songs as we can manage, we record the harmonies ourselves so attempting to keep as live a feel as is possible for 2 people performing big songs
