About this user

Started his musical career at the age of six and completed his training on classical guitar in Uberlândia (Brazil). Since October 2010, he has been attending a master in the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. From the beginning, he has specialized as a soloist for classical guitar. Besides, he has participated in numerous projects of chamber and orchestral music, while expanding his musical styles, from jazz to tango and choro. In 2006, he won the "Prêmio Revelação" by the Brazilian National Competition Jodacil Damasceno. His composition "A Frasca" was awarded to be among the best 400 modern works by the biennale "Arte do Triângulo". He won, the "Raphael Rabello" in Piauí. To promote musical diversity and the exchange between musicians, Paulo Vinícius organized a series of concerts for guitarists "O Nosso de Cada Dia Violão" -- which means "Our daily guitar." He led this project with the financial support from the Cultural Department in Uberlândia and this way he brought worldwide known guitarist to the region. Paulo Vinícius is since 2011 awarded by Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now.
