Paul Mercer is a self-taught composer and performer of experimental pieces for stringed instruments. He is best known for his work with the neoclassical 5-piece the Changelings and his solo works. His style varies from baroque classical to heavily effected experimental electronics, with heavy influences from North Indian classical music. Paul also performs with ATL improv jazz band dp3, dub band Kingrat, the experimental the Ghosts Project, Faith & the Muse, Jarboe's Sweet Meat Love and Holy Cult, and various studio and performance artists.
