Video of the Rain Table prototype developed by the Science Museum of Minnesota, the Electronic Visualization Lab, the University of Minnesota department of Geology and Geophysics and the National Center for Earth-surface Dynamics. Each wireless "puck" rains particles onto a map and digital elevation map in real time. Currently over 80,000 particles can be tracked every 60th of a second. The final installation will be part of Water Planet, a 5-8000 square ft traveling exhibit that will tour beginning Fall 2008.
