Triple Platinum Recording Artist Paul Cooke of Sade fame. Some people refer to Paul as a legend after he formed the Band Sade in 1981 with two fellow musicians from his home town of Hull in the North of England. These three musicians went onto arrange, write and produce the music for what was one of Sade's biggest and most successful albums Diamond Life. I guess this is the kind of thing in pop music history that gets you that kind of referal...

Hi there Paul,
Do you have the original version of Smooth Operator on your You Tube page?
I have always been a huge lover of Sade and didn't realize till I found your channel yesterday that it was originally YOUR name and band, WOW!!!
SO I take you and 'Sade' are not on speaking terms. What a pity how everything all went down!
Your work from the Early 80s with her is seriously genius in my opinion, so rhythmic and all tied in with the whole Blue Rondo A La Turk kind of sound.
