Hi paul, I notice you might might have aborted your work on the HTC Shift...I'm looking for a way on liberating mine but I can not find any working links, I suppose I have the CAB file, but not the shortcut one, I suppose I can write one is not a problem btw which format does ce support ? .ink / .link ? and should the line begin with 64? before calling the executing program "\windows\wceload.exe" ? which I couldn't find in the whole windows directory, further more say this program is there, I believe the whole rom is locked from executing any cabinet files or all executables except those probably in the exception list. correct me if I'm wrong. and I found 3 applications in the startup directory which one of them blocks the task bar, the other blocks execution of other applications and the other I think is SnapVue itself...can this be related to the security policy enforced by the rom ? anyway can you email me at mshauny AT gmail DOT COM.
