Dan Lee, himself a great martial artist, was the national welterweight boxing champion of China before he met and became a student of Bruce Lee.

Bruce Lee exchanged techniques with Gene Lebell and Jhon Rhee, but Chuck Norris was a pupil of Bruce Lee. Chuck Norris said so on at least one occasion, and Bruce Lee said so too. Besides, there are documentary proof of that.

Bruce Lee unknown as a fighter? His pupils included boxing champions, karate champions and street fighters, most of them bigger/taller/older than him.

I remember Dr CHU, I saw him a few times for medical treatment in the early eighties. He was quite famous, charged exorbitantly, yet people lined up to see him.

Bruce Lee was the sifu of Tommy's sifu.

I think the guy was saying that a 40-pound thrust or side kick could easily damage the knees, and such kicks are illegal in kickboxing matches.

Over 40 years ago, in the famous episode of Longstreet, Bruce Lee already explained that the side kick was much more damaging that the boxer's left jab.

The fact is, at least two of Bruce Lee's students have since become Black Belt Hall of Fame inductees. That's how "fake" Bruce Lee was.
