@thecapt53 Yeah Right ! Was talking to some young blokes in London last week and they thought that the 60's and 70's was the coolest music better than now. Just after this Hyde Park gig I saw the Floyd at the same place. About 2 years later. But saw Hendrix and he was the best ever. Blew me away.

Anyone out there know where this version comes from ?

The Wailers were such a tight band. Great drum and bass. Solid.

@sytby Yes , Thats Roy Estrada. Played bass on most of the early Zappa albums From Freak Out up to the early 70's.

I bought this single the day it was released. Blew me away. Never heard the like before and what followed changed everthing. The world was never the same again.

What a tight band the Wailers were. What a truly amazing man was Bob Marley.

There must be something in the water in Galway that it produces great music and art. Perhaps there's some relationship with Maamturks and the Blue mountains in Jamaica. Although I was born and live in UK my mum was born in Clifden. Love the place. Love Irish music, love Reggae music.

@1Piran Glad you enjoyed the gig as I did.Only trouble was I'm only 5'6" and standing near the back could hardly see them. Just got the odd view between the gaps. Oh well. Maybe next time. I was with a work mate of mine half my age. But he's open to any kind of music. BBC coverage of Fleet Foxes ...

Also at the gig. Right at the back. Couldn't see a thing but heard a thing of beauty. Awsom sound. Travelled miles to see them as well, but I'd do it again.
