The City Council of San Bernardino, California think these people are not worth saving. The current mayor, Patrick J. Morris, claims to have set up programs to help these people (Operation Phoenix), but the people there were turned away by the program. In their own words, "It did nothing" for them. Why, then, did San Bernardino have to pay a sales tax increase for this waste of a program? Wendy McCammack wanted to use the federal dollars to make some of these families homeowners, but Patrick Morris, Tobin Brinker, Rikke Van Johnson and Fred Shorett voted her idea down and the low income housing in.

It was sad to see that only 3 city council members cared enough about these people to vote in their best interests: Chaz Kelly, Esther Estrada and Wendy McCammack. The city attorney, Jim Penman, tried to defend the residents; however, the mayor had already sewn up the votes.

There is a man, Sir Isaac Lindsay, who is running against Patrick Morris in this upcoming election, but he needs our help right now to help these people be heard. He has real answers that won't waste our tax dollars.

I don't know about you, but they certainly don't look like trash to me...So why are we allowing them to be spoken of as if they were trash? The city wants to take over the area and create low income housing there. The people who live there are ALREADY TAX PAYING CITIZENS! They'll be thrown out! This is sad and something needs to be done.
