@TANDY6688: Thanks. No, that's not correct - because Islam clearly teaches creationism. You can't believe in creationism and evolution at the same time. Furthermore, islam also states that human beings were originally 27.5 meters tall and that the human species has progressively shrunk to the 1.8m we are tall today.
Sahih Bukhari V4:B55:Nr543:
The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits (27.5m) tall...People have been decreasing in stature since Adam's creation."
Stating the obvious, human beings were never that tall and the 'islamic shrinking theory' is false. By that account we'd continue shrinking and only be 5cm tall in another 500 years. You really believe this stuff?
Can you show me a fossil of 20+m tall human being and its shrinking counterparts, I would like to see them

interesting page , :) i dont think though islam is as black and white as u make it out to be, there are even some muslims who belive in evolution, it all depends on interpretation

Actually matters of state have co-opted what was once the exclusive domain of religion. For example the welfare systems that exist in many countries that have done little good, but much in the way of harm.

Yes of course i like them. They are the fighter's of Enlightenment in my opinion.

People are born into religions,95% of them never get a chance to choose their own way.In their childhood they see their parent's which are mostly a wrong Example anyway. And when they get older they consider religion as part of their own Identity. They develope a chauvinistic idea of "My religion is the best one" and then they try to defend it.In europe and Usa it's different. The religious class is dead over there. But here in muslim country's they are quite dangerous, since they try to control the country's for over 100 Year's.

i am trying to educate my family members, friends and neighbours against the dangers of religion.
religion is not only man made, it is the root of all evil in the world.
